Making a Christmas wreath for the first time in ages
A friend of mine, whom I hadn't seen in almost two years due to the Coronavirus, invited me a few days ago to make a Christmas wreath last Saturday. She sent me a caring and encouraging e-mail when I was hospitalized last month. She invited me to come over for a change. I joined the event, for I hadn't seen her in a long time and also I love creating something with my hands.
The photo above is my work. The wreath is made of raw materials except for the small ornaments. They have a nice scent each. ^^ The ornaments are fixed with thin wires and a glue gun. Well, looking at the photo again, I think the wreath looks a little less glamorous and sad. (I may add more decorations later. ^^;) Well, I was originally an introvert, so I thought the decorations were modest. LOL
I hung the wreath on the wall of the living room so that it would not be exposed to the wind and rain. I think the color of the wreath will gradually change to brown, so I might leave it up all year long.
I used a small picture of myself as my blog icon because I wanted to show that I am telling the truth as I write my testimonies on my Japanese website. This wearing mask is also me. It was the day I was going to the hairdresser after this event, so I am embarrassed that my hair and clothes look so shabby. I'm still praying, but if I start doing something active in the future, I'll show my face, but for now, it's just a little face.
Thank you for reading and God bless you.^^
